Dr Vikki Edmondson

Assistant Professor, Northumbria University

Optimisation of the serviceable condition of our infrastructure legacy and ensuring future resilience for climate change are today’s key challenges. The world is harnessing technology like never before, to provide the data needed to reach operational, strategic and tactical decisions about our assets. Maintaining asset reliability necessitates holistic intelligence available transparently to organisations.

Vikki has been developing analysis approaches and the use of remote sensors to meet today’s challenges for key asset holding organisations. She has monitored the  asset deterioration and fault diagnostics of highway pavement, civil structures and electromechanics devices.

She is passionate about pursuing cost effective solutions that promise to protect intergeneration equity and meet the needs of the current climate emergency.
