Emma Pye is the Founder and Director of PYE-Management Ltd. She is a chartered environmentalist, a Fellow of the IEMA (Institute of Environmental Management & Assessment), has an MSc in Environmental Management for Business, BSc in Environmental Change and Monitoring, is a registered IEMA Auditor and is a Committee Member of BSI for Environmental management systems. 

Emma Pye has over 22 years’ experience working within the construction, highways and quarrying sectors working for companies including Tarmac, Aggregate Industries, WSP, Amey, and Mouchel. She is highly experienced in carbon footprinting, waste management, water management, biodiversity, sustainability strategies, training development, auditing and building, implementing and managing environmental management systems and integrated management systems. Her knowledge, experience and vision provide support in a constantly changing environment, whilst still ensuring businesses manage their precious resources and look to be future-proof.

Emma is a passionate, enthusiastic and conscientious environmental and sustainability professional, whose insight into current and future global concerns are addressing the needs of forward-looking clients and has a successful track record of implementing and managing environmental change and improvement in the construction, highways and quarrying industries.Her recent works include providing carbon footprint advice for the carbon asset tool being developed for North Yorkshire Highways/Connected Enviro Net (CEN) supported by LCRIG (Local Council Roads Innovation Group), being the expert advisor for developing the Scope 1 and 2 carbon footprint guide for FHRG (Future Highways Research Group) which was adopted by ADEPT (Association of Directors of Environment, Economy, Planning and Transport), a participant of the new IWA 42: Net Zero Guidelines and the Author of the RSTA Carbon Emissions for Road Surface and other maintenance treatments for Asset Management Purposes.

PYE-Management is also a founding member of the EBN (Environmental Business Network) and a supporter of Ecologi.
