Iain has 24 years of experience in vehicle safety research and consultancy and founded Apollo Vehicle Safety in 2014. His expertise is founded on in-depth understanding of the effects of vehicle characteristics on the frequency and severity of accidents, combined with a broad understanding of the wider effects of design, regulation and policy on other societal goals, including freight economics, fuel consumption and emissions, and the effect of vehicles on infrastructure. He currently works on diverse projects ranging from basic brake and handling performance of specialist vehicles, through to the analysis of the multi-faceted challenges of regulating the safety of ADAS and Automated Vehicles.
