Marcus Jones

Marcus has 29 years’ research and consultancy experience in transport emissions reduction and decarbonisation. He worked at TRL on UK government-funded trials and evaluation programmes involving walking and cycling infrastructure, low emission buses and trucks, E-mobility and integrated transport schemes. He also worked at Aether on modelling emissions from rail vehicles, road vehicle emission factors, emission projections, emission inventories and strategies for local authorities.

Marcus is now working as an independent consultant, aiming to use this experience to help clients to identify cost-effective and sustainable transport solutions, involving both active travel and zero emission vehicles.
