ITEN Member, Helen Bailey, has been appointed Visiting Professor in Sustainable Construction Materials & Engineering at the University of Suffolk. Visiting Professors play an important role in research, knowledge and expertise exchange, sharing from their wealth of experience in their specialised field.

A Chartered Engineer with excellent technical capability, Helen has extensive experience in the development, integration, and delivery of challenging projects in both large and small organisations. Her unique experience and vision allow her to combine proven commercial expertise, industry, and marketing knowledge with academic capability for the successful delivery of a wide range of initiatives both in the UK and internationally.

Helen, who is a senior lecturer at the University of Derby, says:

I am delighted to have been appointed Visiting Professor at the University of Suffolk and very much look forward to collaborating with the Sustainability Institute to meet the needs and challenges required to equitably transform the infrastructure sector in the current climate emergency.
